Lumo Amuzo is an independent game publishing label created by P. D.Warne, an artist and game maker with a penchant for the mystical. Based in Montreal, Lumo Amuzo produces enchanting games and curious ephemera that add lasting joy, fun and magic to the art of play.

Lumo Amuzo's flagship product is the Larklamp Magic Lantern Game System, a board game "console" featuring a series of games made of light and shadow.

History

For ten years, Warne designed video games at Lucas, Double Fine and Ubisoft studios. He was also co-founded Hololabs Studio in 2010. In 2015, he set out to create a new gaming platform inspired by Plato's allegory of the cave. 

In May 2016, the Larklamp Magic Lantern Game System was successfully funded on Kickstarter, raising nearly 1000% of its funding goal. The premier Kickstarter edition includes the first Larklamp games, Snyxtrap and Wisp in the Vale. Snyxtrap was a jury-selected participant in the IndieMEGABOOTH game festival at the 2016 PAX East Game Expo in Boston.

The Larklamp and two games for the system, Snyxtrap and Wisp in the Vale, are now available for pre-order.
